		<description><![CDATA[<p>SUBIC BAY Freeport: Another US submarine which was supposed to port here in Subic has suddenly cancelled its schedule.</p>
<p>Sources said that USS Tucon, a nuclear powered attack submarine by the United States was supposed to dock in Subic’s port on the 19th but suddenly cancelled.</p>
<p>The cancelation came 2 days after USS North Carolina was spotted docked at Alava pier here and caught the attention of local and foreign media after www.subictimes.com posted its picture Tuesday.</p>

		<description><![CDATA[<p>SUBIC BAY freeport:  Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Chairman Roberto Garcia clarified reports stating that a new man has been appointed as SBMA administrator.</p>
<p>“The news release that was printed has caused confusion here, our employees are asking, our locators are also asking for clarifications,” Garcia said.</p>
<p>The issue stemmed from reports printed out I major dailies saying Businessman Mike Macapagal was appointed as SBMA Administrator.</p>
<p>Reports said that Macapagal’s appointment was signed on January 30 and its affectivity date is February 27.</p>
