IBA, Zambales: The provincial government of Zambales has beefed up its medical and health program with 3 brand new ambulances and 3 new incubators donated by a private company last week.

Zambales governor Hermogenes Ebdane Jr. said that the new medical equipments will help in their steps to bring health and medical services directly to the barangay.

He added that the province is finalizing the mobile clinic program in order to reach out to as many residents as they can.

Central Luzon regional sport meet starts today

IBA, Zambales: Some 13,000 delegates from 18 school divisions in Central Luzon will battle it out today, Monday, during the start of the five-day Central Luzon Regional Athletic Association (CLRAA).

The province recently did a P100 million facelift of its sports complex, which now boasts of a rubberized track oval, a renovated Olympic-size swimming pool, rehabilitated gymnasium, grandstands and bleachers, and a new athletes’ dormitory, which is still under construction.

IBA Zambales: Three major projects were inaugurated here this week as part of the development program of the provincial government.

Governor Jun Ebdane inaugurated the rehabilitated segment of Carael National Highway in the town of Botolan, which was damage heavily during the past rainy season.

According to Governor Jun Ebdane, the rehabilitation works, which connects the northern and southern parts of the province, worth P50 million.

Ebdane also inaugurated P50 million worth of medical equipments at Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Hospital.

ZAMBALES: The provincial government of Zambales received P50 million worth of medical equipment from a Japan-based company.

The equipment included a computed tomography (CT) scan machine, an ultrasound imager, and an X-ray system, among others.

“The machines we’ve been waiting for are now here. We will install and test the equipment in the next few days, inaugurate them at the end of this month, and after that they will be available for the use of needy patients in our province,” said Zambales [...]

IBA, Zambales: Zambales Provincial Administrator Jun Omar C. Ebdane officially quit his post today and expressed his intention to join the special election for the Zambales Second District representative next month.

The young Ebdane, who is the youngest son of Gov. Hermogenes E. Ebdane Jr., made the announcement during an assembly of government officials and employees at the Capitol after receiving a declaration of support from town mayors from the municipalities that make up the Second District.

Former public works secretary Hermogenes Ebdane was proclaimed winner by the Commission on Election (COMELEC) as the new governor of Zambales Thursday afternoon.

Ebdane who is a neophyte candidate in the province garnered a total of 125,202 votes from 13 towns of Zambales. His closest rival, re-electionist Amor Deloso, received a total of 96,112 votes.
