Non-Government Organizations in Northern Zambales are calling on the government to cancel all the permits issued to all mining companies engaged in open-pit mining because of environmental destruction affecting the lives and livelihood of the people.

Late September this year, I learned that the city government of Olongapo City allowed a garbage hauling company to temporarily dump Pampanga garbage in the city dump. The city councilors assured residents that all the staff work were completed and that we are ready and prepared to import garbage.

I couldn’t help to comment on the anti Wang-Wang trend. This has been the mark of PNoy’s speech during his inaugural.

It was supposed to be a two day vacation.

Vacation according to www.wikipedia.org is: a general leave of absence or vacation from a regular occupation for rest or recreation.
