Grand Pillar International Development Inc., recently lighted the first Christmas tree inside Subic Bay Freeport with a twist.

The ‘Wishing Christmas Tree’ was launched in a bid to help or bring joy to an Aeta community village located inside the Freeport.

SBFCC reach out to victims of Mt. Balumpuyo rock slide

The Subic Bay Freeport Chamber of Commerce (SBFCC) headed by Danny Piano went to Sta. Rita Elementary School Saturday (October 08, 2011) and gave out relief goods to families who were forcibly evacuated near Mt. Balimpuyo.

A rock slide occurred last month killing 2 person and injuring several others. The Evacuees have been in the school since last month. No date has been set yet when these families can return to their respective homes. Photo are hand out from SBFCC
