7 injured in grenade blast

CASTILLEJOS, Zambales: 7 People was injured after a grenade exploded in baranagay Del Pilar in this town yesterday evening.

Authorities identified the injured as Wilfredo Zamora, 32, Carlito Daliso, 21, of Barangay West Tapinac Olongapo City, Jess Capones, 31, Almira Dawal, 35, Rosalinda Miranda, 51 Aileeen Cardinas, 27 and Lawrence Sunga, 30 anyos of Castillejos Zambales.

The victims were rushed to nearby San Marcelino Hospital for medical attention.

According to police, the victims were having a drink spree at the said barangay when Zamora pulled out a grenade and started playing with it.

Zamora according to police report accidentally pulled out the pin of the grenade but manage to throw it away before it exploded.

Zamora could possibly face charges of multiple physical injuries.
