Leadership without vision, governance without morals, cannot lead to true liberation, he said.
“The Kapatiran stands on principles for the common good not on personalities. That is the way of genuine representation in government,” said Nacua in an interview with the CBCP news service.
Nacua is the country’s first Capuchin missionary to be appointed as bishop.
Last week, 2 bishops headed by Lipa Archbishop Ramon Arguelles and Bacolod Bishop Vicente Navarra, broke their silence.
The two bishops broke tradition by endorsing a candidate for president but the two however seems solve in doing so.
“I guess it’s time for us to come out,” Navarra said. “It’s really a matter of conscience this time. That is what my conscience is telling me so I will stand for what I believe is right.” Told cbcpnews.com.
Delos Reyes in a text message to subictimes.com said that “We remain humble and happy that at last, their call for principled partisan politics which is strictly adhered by my party will come around for the good of the nation.”
“May laban na ang maayos na politika at pag tayo ang nagwagi mababago ang anyo, hugis at kulay ng politika.” He added.

“genuine integral human development”
This is a very unusual phrase. Can anyone enlighten me as to what is intended here, particular by the candidate?
Thanks!
