Some 150 shooters gathered to promote responsible gun ownership during the 1^st CD Albayalde Cup Funshoot held in Castillejos Zambales last week.

Responsible shooter/practical shooters from the Olongapo Practical Shooter association (OPSA), Zambales Olongapo Riffle Shooters Association (ZOPRA), Bataan Shooters Association (BATAS), Tarlac Shooters (TSCI), Police Olongapo Shooting Team (POST) and the SBMA LED/SWAT shooting Team competed in four divisions.

“This is to remind all of us that having a gun means responsibility and that this should be the last option in any given situation,” Olongapo City Police Director PSSUPT. Oscar Albayalde said.

Winner in the shooting event were, in the Standard Division, Edwin Halili – Champion (TSCI); PNP Standard Division, Maj. Julius Domingo Champion (POST/OPSA); Production Division Cary Ignacio – Champion (OPSA); PNP Production Division, Jeffrey Domingo – Champion (POST/OPSA); Standard Single Stack Division Meds Suitos – Champion (CAMP OLIVAS); PNP Standard Single Stack Division Ric Eligido – Champion (POST/OPSA); Modified Division, Tony Mercado – Champion (OPSA); Open Division Ericka Corpuz – Champion (ZOPRA); Lady Champion Claire Banda (TSCI); PNP Lady Champion Meann Sadava (POST) and in Jr Champion Kevin Albayalde.
