7 injured as truck slams into house

Olongapo City: 7 individual was injured after a delivery truck slammed inside their home in Barangay Mabayuan Wednesday afternoon.
According to initial reports the delivery truck with plate number ZCD-711 driven by Elmer Dacpano, a resident of Barangay Sta. Rita lost its break after delivering construction materials at Labrador St. in barangay Mabayuan around 1pm (December 9, 2009).
“Una binanga niya yung pader ng bahay pero sa sobrang bilis niya dahil galling siya sa taas ng Labrador St. inabot niya pa din yung waiting shade sa tabi.” an eyewitness told Subic Times.
Police identified the injured victims as Arlene Custodio, 47, her son Mark Adriane, 16 Analiza Conrado, 37, John Joseph, 7, and Jennamae Conrado, 16, Philip Pariola, 17, and Miguel gatos, 16, all residents of 143 Otero Avenue Barangay Mabayuan.
The victims according to the Traffic Management Bureau were all selling food infront of their house when the incident happened.
The truck according to authorities is owned by Diamond Tradings.
The victims including the driver were rushed to the James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital for treatment.
A case of reckless imprudence resulting to multiple injuries and damage to properties are being filed against the driver.
